True, it has new gameplay, which might be the only good thing going for it. The gaming industry has always been crappy to their workers, but at least some good creative things came out of them, even if they weren't ethical. I guess it takes to break something to make something good, which is sad.
:blob_ninja: I think the major issue with this game is that it's supposed to be a sequel, and it's not, from what I hear. I'll probably buy it once it goes on discount just to experience the "Story", but uh, it's a real disappointment if I don't get to see the conclusion to my Solas. :blob_pat_sad:
Well, DAV isn't a "new game" in the sense of a new IP. It's a follow-up to DAI, which is where they screwed up. A new IP to me is something like Atlus Metaphor, which has more forgiveness than a sequel will. There should be an order for a sequel, as you have a prequel to lean on. It shouldn't be...
This happens mostly to Western studios, too. Look at Square and Nintendo. They can still send out bangers, even if some have their quality in the gutter. Atlus too. Atlus can literally take my money at full price, and I won't complain.
You can because there is supposed to be an order when creating things unless it's entirely new, but that's what's been lost. They hire newbies who don't know what they're doing while the senior talent meant to lead them leaves. There should always be a style and a leader to follow and guide the...
Well, It's like saying you can't expect the same service from a joint when a new crew is running it. Bioware should have had its own style, which should've been the focus of the hiring process, but yeah, I guess you're right. Quality and individuality are two different things that have gone down...
Well, I'm committed to the story, so I want to see the end if it is the end. Gameplay doesn't seem so bad, and heck reviews aren't everything. Just sad it's turned out like that. I find some games that are reviewed as trash, and I find charm in them. I know it's not the same people but company...
:blob_no: I can't believe it's gone down like this. I'll probably buy it at a discount just because I want to see what happens to Solas, but... :c I'm so disappointed by the reviews and the story's loss of integrity. Can't believe the same people made DA, DA2, DAI and ME trilogy
