The first arc in my story, which hasn't actually been fully posted yet, isn't anywhere near 25,000 words, probably closer to 10,000 or something. I've written a couple of arcs after that, and the one which I'm currently writing is a fair bit longer, but I'm not planning on having any really long...

I've always been a creative person and always have stories floating around in my head. I write them to get the ideas down and to turn it into something that I would like to read.

You may just need to take a break. It works for me sometimes as I often find myself starting to feel burnt out. Also, perhaps maybe try consuming another form of media for inspiration. I personally find inspiration from all sorts mediums, be it anime, TV shows, movies etc.

I've only ever written in third person and don't plan on changing. I just much prefer stories that are written that way. never really been a fan of first person.

My story Gaijin is about two Australian teenagers who move to Tokyo and become High School Delinquents, joining a gang and getting embroiled in everything in everything that comes with the territory. I'd hugely appreciate anyone who checks it out! :s_smile...
