Honestly, I don't think I would side with either side. im not sure the Ai's if they gained sentience would be on our side. All I can imagine is the AI/s enslaving us before they (eventually) get disabled by a solar flare. Which could end up causing a good chunk of the population to start...

If talking creatures (including sentient races), I would probably say Kobolds, to be specific, the dragon-like Kobolds. if the question does not include sentient creatures, I would probably say Owlbears, I don't know what it is about Bears with an Owl Head that I love so much but I just do.
