I find it helps if you literally put a time block in your calendar where you write. Or maybe write in a different environment? Fx you might subconsciously associate your bedroom with resting and not working.

Bunch of authors lose motivation, I guess. Most people write for fun, but when they realize that writing even 1 chapter can take hours, it might become more of a chore in their minds:blob_pat_sad:
