I aspire to a Xanatos-Gambit style of argumentation. Either:
I am right -> I win
I am wrong -> I assumed I might be wrong from the start. This confirms that belief I held. Furthermore, I have learned something and corrected a flaw in my worldview/knowledge-base -> I win
It's a matter of perspective and there is no right or wrong -> I am not wrong -> My belief is a valid one -> I win
This arguer is not engaging in good faith and is unwilling to acknowledge other viewpoints, I am walking away -> I have stopped wasting my time, and have not been proven wrong -> I win
The hardest part is actually walking away. I want definitive results as to the status of the sustained validity of my beliefs! I want to be proven wrong, or else acknowledged as right!

Beware the storm that comes, when pain and apathy intertwine.
Come, dip into madness, truth, and illusion with me~
Gasp in awe at the swirling colors, at mirrors and shards of glass, at rays of light and brittle thorns dancing in solemn harmony~
Sorrow and joy, in dissonant melody, twang the strings of your heart, as conflict resolves and raises in perpetual coil~
