There's also (if you're on windows) Windows key + period. Pops up a window that lets you enter special characters—dashes, accented letters, emoji, kaomoji, all sorts of cool stuff. (Also, clipboard history.) Very useful.

I've been on a kick of replaying all my old GBA/GBC games recently. Metroid Fusion, the original Mario and Luigi (still the best in the series(well, that's not completely fair, i haven't played All the others)), Oracle of Ages and Seasons... also Chrono Trigger, maybe I'll actually finish it...

On the part of the commenters, not the authors, but the main thing that leaps out to me is how they'd get mad at the MC for things like... having a personality, or making reasonable mistakes, or attempting diplomacy with monsters before writing them off as evil and slaughterable, or otherwise...
