    Intimacy without Romance

Should look up the different definitions of love. That might answer your questions.

Tips in keeping consistency in editing.

Well, everyone has their own process. That you did that much is still impressive, when most stories barely do even a fraction of that. Just, uh, yeah. I stand by what I said earlier. I do think it's more important to write and get it out rather than to stall out, so don't beat yourself up over it.

Tips in keeping consistency in editing.

Oh wow, a million words? I usually edit in ~80,000-120,000 word chunks and that's already hell as it is. Between correcting mistakes, clarifying sentences, and realigning characters or scenes, I can't imagine doing that much in one go. You'd almost be better off just not bothering to edit it...

    100 followers on Royal Road!

That's a shame, but hopefully those numbers will go up. Especially if you keep at writing.

    100 followers on Royal Road!

How much of that viewership has transitioned to your Patreon, assuming you have one? Any noticeable uptick? Also, congratulations on the 100 readers.

How do you write action scenes?

Action and reaction can be considered the rule of thumb. What does Character A do, how does Character B react, so on so forth. Additionally, in reality fights tend to be rather short. Boxing matches are a great example, with each major clash being equivalent to a round of boxing followed by a...

    Neurodivergent character vs. 'Autism' tag?

Yeah, which was a big reason for why a lot of people in the community referred to each other as being on the spectrum. Especially since there were methods and ways to identify and rectify areas they were weak in so they could function in normal society. Yeah, a lot of people back then hated how...

    Neurodivergent character vs. 'Autism' tag?

Yeah, I figured they were both under the umbrella term of Neurodivergent. Wasn't aware both were still in use in the today, I knew Autism was, but I don't hear Asperger's as much as back then. I know in the early 2000's it caused a lot of contention since there was a big difference between the...

    Neurodivergent character vs. 'Autism' tag?

Eh, I think the tag existing is kind of strange. In the same way, I'd think a neurodivergent tag would be worse. I mean, back in the day they'd use Aspergers for higher functioning individuals, and Autism for lower functioning, if I'm remembering right, I might have gotten my wires crossed here...

What's your editing process? What do you focus on?

Depends, I can just about keep up with the releases, which is about 3 chapters per week while maintaining a decent sized reserve. I write about, 3,000 words a chapter too, which works to about 10,000 words a week. Depending on the arc I'm on, and the chapters, I can write a good number of...

What's your editing process? What do you focus on?

You do it by chapter then? I do it by batch. I'll write about 30 chapters worth of content, roughly a book's worth of material before I go back and do my first pass of editing. First pass is me checking things over, making sure I didn't make any major mistakes before pressing on. I'll then...

How do you grow an audience?

It might be because you have a smut story. I'm a lurker myself, so, I can't say much, but I'd imagine people wouldn't want to engage too much with that kind of material, publicly at least. I'm also not entirely sure how the analytics work on views and such, so, yeah, I don't have much more to...

How do you grow an audience?

Is this your first story? If so, the best you can do is just keep up consistent updates. Even when the story finishes, it'll keep generating views and readers as long as you post a new story, and as more people discover you. As you build a reputation, your base will increase. That's at least...

    Uggggh. Cringe.

Oof, Paypal has a 180 day return window usually. You might be able to call and see if an associate can help you out, but since it was so long ago, and since paypal is a third-party company technically, the money is likely gone. You might get lucky with PayPal if they confirm the user has a...

    Uggggh. Cringe.

Oh, that sucks. If you don't mind me asking, how did you pay? If it was through paypal, you might be able to get your money back if it wasn't too long ago. If over a card, you might be able to dispute the charges with your credit provider, assuming you don't dispute very often.
