If you are demotivated and uninspired, I recommend taking a shower. Idk how, but whenever I take a showever, inspiration comes and makes me interested at the story again.

I personally don't know what to advice you, but if you would like some reference or inspiration try and read Lord of The Mysteries. Arc 2 has the MC focus on being a detective basically crime + thriller + fantasy. And Arc 3 straight up changes to adventure and action.
