I've had a look yeah. Some of the AI voice services are quite impressive. Better than I expected, even. But they still don't sound natural enough. They don't put the right emphasis on words, or use a sarcastic tone when appropriate, for example. You probably know what I mean.

I've been put off the usual gig platforms (fiverr, freelancer etc..) because they take such a huge cut from both the seller and the buyer of services. I also can't afford a super-professional narrator with a sound studio and wot not. Do you have a nice clear voice and enjoy reading stories that...

good question. In the story its government vehicle, so has to be flash :-) but that doesn't matter for the synopsis I suppose. Although that type of car does lend a little more intrigue perhaps? ie. Whoever is stalking her, has money, and isn't some average dude in a Toyota :-)

I have no problem with AI covers. I can't afford to pay for someone to create a cover sometimes, because writing is just a hobby. (and I'd never sell enough copies to get the money back. lol).

I've noticed that when I add a new chapter, the view count of the book jumps up by a dozen or so within minutes. Maybe even less than a minute. The book is new. It doesn't have any "readers" and only two favorites. So I very much doubt a dozen people are jumping into it as soon as a new chapter...
