I smiled as I listened to Lisette recount her previous afternoon. I felt a little embarrassed by the praise she gave for my notes but managed to mask it with a grateful smile.
"I'm sure you'll be able to write better notes with practice. After all, Rome wasn't built in a-- ah, I mean kingdoms aren't built in a day." I felt my cheeks redden over my blunder of giving a saying from my previous life and hoped they hadn't noticed. Isaac looked at me quizzically before asking if he could see my beautiful notes, too. "Ah, you jest! Your notes are basically the same, silly."
Seeing that the red swelling had gone down, I was relieved since it would be a shame for such a cute girl to have a blemish like that. "I'm glad the ointment is helping, then."
Seeing Alba arrive, I smiled at him.
"I slept as well as I normally do: peacefully. How about you, Mr Stahlburg?" I said as we started jogging around the track with the First Year.
I could have sworn I heard Isaac groan upon meeting up with Alba but I must have been imagining it. I noticed him ruffle Alba's hair before saying he slept much better after remembering Alba's smile, whatever that meant.

Incidentally on the wall was a poster advertisement for the Trade-Port city that just happened to be named Rome, Named after the man who built it from a tiny hamlet to a bustling Trade-Port.When she heard Isaac ask about seeing her notes, Lisette called out to her senior. "If there's time this weekend, we can all share notes! It could be an excellent opportunity to learn more about one another!" She suggested, and plus it would give them another opportunity to get together.
As they were making there way over to Alba's running form, Lisette's smile twitched, something Veronika said before caught her off guard. She had an appreciative expression on her face but her smile almost made her forget what was just said. Wait what? Did I hear that right? She had reached Alba by now, but she could have sworn she heard Rome. Last time she heard that saying was back on Earth.
Maybe I'm still waking up, I could have heard wrong. Yeah, I heard wrong! Lisette bounced back into her usual disposition. "I slept wonderfully!" She chirped to Alba's question, but heard a slight grumble that she could have sworn was a groan.
Lisette looked to Isaac who had ruffled his snow white hair while they ran. As she jogged, she reached up to her own head almost pouting. She thought, I wonder how it feels to have your hair ruffled like that. Alba's hair must be so soft. Lisette snapped out from that train of thought immediately, her face red now from the thought.
