For hurting your fee-fees.
???
Look, at least I am not the one throwing around Latin quotes despite having no idea whatsoever what they mean. Instead, you resort to insults like usual.
That's the fun part. And, I think I'll delete this thread now...
Followup question: how do I delete this thread now?
Well, golly heck! Gosh mother-fudging darn it!That's the fun part.
You can't.
Only moderators can delete thread.
You must be very, very naughty to get your thread deleted.
Look, at least I am not the one constatnly breaking forum rules despite having an idea about what they mean. Instead, you resort to passive-aggresive behavior like usual.
You give the rules of a forum too much credit. And as if you are not a rule breaker for constant harassment.Damn. I can't impersonate Corty since they evolved into Trash Panda! As the author of the post, I doubt we look alike.
Now we must derail the thread!Well, golly heck! Gosh mother-fudging darn it!

You give your non-existent mind reading powers too much credit. And as if I actually broke rules and got my messages deleted or got called out by the site owner for lying. You give your non-existent mind reading powers too much credit. ...That only applies for a story that you intend to be for an audience that you fit in with, like writing a horror story if you dislike all forms of horrors and then using your opinion of horror as a measurement of how good the horror is not really that good of an idea.I think the biggest thing people have to ask when it comes to writing is whether they enjoy reading it.
If you don’t enjoy reading your own writing, others probably won’t either.
Writers that write things that they don't personally enjoy is fine, but they can't expect others to like what they write if they themselves don't enjoy it.That only applies for a story that you intend to be for an audience that you fit in with, like writing a horror story if you dislike all forms of horrors and then using your opinion of horror as a measurement of how good the horror is not really that good of an idea.
The example might be rather bad but I just want to highlight differences in taste, talking to someone who can be seen as median among the audience you want to write for is more useful, then again this part of writing psychology in not my strength by the virtue of me just believing that there are writers that write things they don't personally enjoy.
True.Writers that write things that they don't personally enjoy is fine, but they can't expect others to like what they write if they themselves don't enjoy it.
This isn't a:
- If I enjoy it they must enjoy it.
This is:
- If I don't enjoy it, I can't demand other enjoy it.
It's more like:
- Your ideas aren't original so don't expect them to be some special thing that everyone would like if they only understood it.
