omniscient reader's viewpoint vs shadow slave vs lord of the mysteries vs reverend insanity

I just want to start an uproar that's all.

It's all fun and games.

NO VIOLENCE AND CYBER CRIME HERE.

BE RESPECTFUL AND PEACEFUL AS WELL AS TOLERANT.

EACH OF THESE WEB-NOVELS ARE THE BEST IN THEIR OWN WAY.

I JUST WANT TO SEE HOW DIFFERENT THEY ARE IN YOUR OPINIONS.

I haven't read Shadow Slave yet so RI for now. I really liked the "Legend of Ren Zu" stories.

History strongest husband > Reverend insanity

Imagine, RI's Fang Yuan, but 1 step before turning into insanity. (poison, bombing, STDs(once), nukes)
Imagine Greatest estate manhwa, but 100x better quality

ps : This series is the biggest proof that a title is the most important to a novel. as this series get 0 popularity in the west but high in east.

Same as "Martial arts master" (giga wholesome) FROM SAME AUTHOR FROM LORD OF MYSTERIES
(Author link NU)
no one give a f about it, and everyone talk about Lord of mysteries.
--------------------

TLDR : Reverend insanity is just a high quality series "evil for the sake of evil" that attract edgy people.
Same as THE BOYS' homelander, and this livestreamers that do evil pranks, attracting ton of people.

From what I've heard between them all, I probably would have preferred Reverend Insanity the most, but seeing as it will NEVER be finished, I have no interest in beginning it.
My guess is this is my situation too, but I have not read any of them.

I only read ORV and RI

Dropped ORV because the gay tone got twanged with MC moving towards the BI tone instead.

RI is a painful read. I did not know that I am good until I see Fang Yuan. Murdering his own shitty family, YES! Murdering kids, pre having niece me is icky but fine, post niece me is not so much. Murdering a dude that you actually 100% know is a good guy, fuck you FY, even though your cold shitty logic makes hella sense. If you can't tell, I also dropped it.

Heard about SS, never got into it because I found it in WebNovel and hell nah.

LOTM... I don't think I read it.

I really do like SS... but webnovel is a pain to read on, so I haven't read it in so long. Probably never will pick it up again either.

ORV... I don't really know, I don't mind it. But it isn't that appealing to me.

I don't enjoy RI.

But LOTM? It's an amazing story, and in my opinion far and away above the other options.

Shadow Slave - X
An english original. Too bad it's only on Qidian Webnovel. So I have and would never read it.

ORV - 3rd
Kinda one of the better korean webnovels out there. Some parts were emotional and fucking amazing, but some parts were kinda meh, the writing quality stayed the same though, the arcs were just boring. Too much BL baiting. I don't read BL, but because ORV was actually that good, I figured I wouldn't mind it if it was actually BL on the long run, too bad it was just BL baiting, and it just turned a running gag before I dropped it.

Reverend Insanity - 2rd
A solid work. Objectively leagues above 95% other chinese webnovels. Good pacing. The worldbuilding doesn't force you to lobotomize your head just to understand it. Good characters, even the antagonists are shown love.

Unfortunately, RI is too deep on the whole murderhobo vibe. It was a fresh series to read after you were fucked up by other shitty chinese wns, but not much after that. If you're an impressionable kid who is on your "subverting-the-trope truther" phase (hating on kind mcs and all that), then you'll have a good a time. But for others who have already figured out their niches and interests (and morals), then this is a hit and miss. It doesn't matter how objectively good the series is.

Lord of the Mystery - 1st
The 1st.

Notice: LOTM is the best written web novel, ORV in second, SS in third and RI in fourth-nya.

The reason I asked for the forum is because of the live action of ORV... they used guns in the trailer... guns instead of sword

I heard it got banned because of the Chinese Govt. Due to which it never finished.
None of them have looked particularly interesting to me, so ive avoided them so far.
I suggest you to read ORV webtoon and RI manwha...

I have somewhat heard of legend of ren zu. Is it a good read? What's the genre?
LotM, I dropped the others ~100 chapters in.
ORV - kinda makes sense, it only gets good in the next 150 chapters. It took a long time for the world building but it's worth it.
LOTM was the best ride I ever had. Peak fiction. RI is good too, but will never have an ending. ORV is a bit too tragic for my taste. I dropped Shadow Slave quite early.
ORV is like a depression pill

I really love SS and it's extensive use of symbolism. The power system with each person having a flaws they need to deal with is something unique that I haven't read in WN before SS. Not to mention how much I adore Neph as a character. 9/10

Haven't read LOTM yet, the title and synopsis doesn't appeal to me. I've read other works from the author (Throne of Magical Arcana) and the world building are something great, with a GOATed power system for me. I want to start to read LOTM but I kinda need extra motivation, if only someone can spoil me a little bit *wink wink* about the MC, his goal, the world setting, and màybe part of the first arc i would be sure to read it.

ORV just doesn't click for me. Dropped it around 1/3 of the story. Its well written but lacking that X factor.

Not really interested in SI in the first place, doubt I will ever read it

I could, but I know the author, some people helping with it, and also don't like pirating novels...
So if I am reading it, I won't be doing via piracy.
Alright, it's all good.

LOTM -
TAROT CARDS, A THERAPIST FOR A GOOD AND PURE GOD, 1800S STEAMPUNK STUFFS.

ORV -
A dog that speaks human language and a man giving birth are both impossible, yet they both exist in this world.
