Messy Black Hair, Purple Pupils, with a face that can be considered handsome if you stare long enough, he is often seen wearing a jet black cloak inlaid with sunset orange highlights, and a set of matching coat and trousers. His back retains the scars of that war and is visible when he removes his shirt. H : 183cm, W : 80kg
Personality
Fanatic, Steadfast, Straight Talker, Loyal, A tad blur, Hopeless Romantic, Rather Reticent and Awkward in Conversations (think Strider from Lord of the Rings)
Backstory
A mysterious stranger from the far west, hailing from the Land of the Morning Star. Officially a wandering traveller who had experienced much in his travels across the lands to the west of Scribel City.
Recently, his travels have taken him to the land of Tonia and Scribel City.
When in the city, he can often be found in the Ragged Flagon, lurking in the shadows at the back of the (already shady) tavern.
Upon familiarising himself with the city, he had taken (and passed) the Rank D test.
A naturally reticent person, most who have met so far have merely dismissed him as another shady stranger best left alone.
In truth, Syn (whose true name is Syndergaard), is a veteran of the War of the Fallen and is also a secret follower of Olivia, a fallen angel who rebelled with other angels against their master(s).
However, his worship of Olivia also meant that he had been labelled as a heretic by a certain ecumenical council of churches and to be hunted down on sight - hence him being forced into hiding with the need for disguising his name, strength and class.
Currently, he is on a quest for his mistress to obtain the Tear of the Gods, which had supposedly formed partially because of the god(s) sadness at the angel's rebellion, and more importantly, had landed somewhere in Tonia.
Regarding his combat capabilities, he is most skilled in dual wielding rapiers, though he uses a heavy tower shield and longsword when in disguise.
As a devoted follower (to the point of being a fanatic), he is willing to, and had in fact, killed others in the name of faith when he was still a member of the Twilight Order. His allies know him as a loyal and dependable friend and his foes would do well to stay clear of him.
On a sidenote, he has a serious crush on his mistress Olivia and would probably jump off the side of a cliff or take on the most dangerous of missions for her. It does not help that he is a hopeless romantic.
Unfortunately, the fact that she is a divine being and him being a really socially awkward person presents a massive problem. Will our protagonist ever get together with his yellow rose? And how will he even propose to her?

ItemDescription
LongswordAn ordinary but nevertheless long and sharp blade made of reinforced steel. Useful for poking enemies in the face.
Tower shieldBasically an oversized slab of wood and reinforced steel. Used to block stabs, slashes and other nasty things.
Somewhat shady clothesProvides additional levels of shadiness and makes one look edgier. Looks cool but probably not great at taking blows, though its flowing design allows for unimpeded movement in a fight.
Dusk and dawn - twin rapiersSyn's preferred weapon.
Their shimmer resembles that of dawn and dusk - as their namesake suggests. They were bestowed onto him by Olivia, which explains why he treasures them so much.
Though they are normally hidden within his cloak and not revealed unless desperate situations call for desperate measures.
SkillDescription
Steadfast Heart - Heart of StoneA skill born of Syn's personality and natural disposition.
To stay calm in the face of danger, to stare unflinchingly in the face of adversity, to weather a storm like a rock is what this skill promises.
Dual-wielding proficiencyNearly two years of non-stop fighting on the warfront has allowed Syn to hone his skills to a high level. Though not a master of dual-wielding, he is making steady progress towards it.
Dual rapier technique - Twin CoilTo strike like lightning - that is the essence of this technique. It is so fast that few even know what hit them before they die.
Divine Skill - Twilight Blade : Dark Fallen SwordSyn's ultimate skill, used to close out difficult opponents. Using power borrowed from Olivia through a quick prayer, Syn can unleash a resplendent, sunset-hued ranged attack infused with dark divinity. It is capable of sundering steel and bone alike, akin to a knife through hot butter. As this skill borrows the power of the divines, it has been known to take on opponents more powerful than Syn himself.
Note: This skill experiemces a boost in specs when used during dusk and dawn, granting Syn partial transformation into a fallen angel for a few minutes. Syn will feel drained after performing the attack and might even be paralysed. This skill can only be used once a day.
Shielding Skill - Efficient BlockingHaving gone through rigorous training of the Twilight Paladins, Syn is proficient in various weaponry, including the usage of tower shields. He is capable of using less strength to still block effectively, allowing him to carry better armored shields.
Miscellaneous Passive Skill - LurkYears of being a third-wheeler in conversations as well as vibing too hard in conversations has resulted in the formation of this skill. This skill renders the user slightly harder to detect and notice. Additionally, this skill grants the user slightly more edginess and shadiness.

You can only start with level 1 characters. (And the starting money cap is 500G) Please power him down appropriately and push him back to level 1.

If its not a player character perhaps you'd like to delete it from the registration directory and move the NPC to NPC directory
