Hmm... I thought by using blob emojis was a pretty clear indicator that it was in jest...
Somehow I am taken to be someone that is invested in this... numbering and deletion of posts...

I wanna open a rumor zone, a place we can post fake and real rumors alike.

There may be classification on the rumors and the poster have to write where you can hear the rumors.

Let's start with General Rumors, they don't mention specific names of people. And it could be about anything from "the new dish available in the tavern" to "a war will break out in the human empire". Those rumors can be forgotten or get updated from the old ones.

The next one will be for the Well-Known aka rumors for NPC and PC. It's require the character is well-known in a specific area/region, theirs rumors will can be different from place to place. After all, the people who knows them are different as well.

Then we have the Legends or Old Belief, stories which each local people or member of a group knows, something that could be related on how it came to be or an old local belief of what could bring you good or bad fortune.

Of course, our characters can make a rumor on purpose, even the fakes ones. We just write and post our stories and then make a post in that thread.

Raise that to 'should not be more than the highest level character' so you can have a party of 10, 5 and 5, because 10, 3 and 2 is no different from a single 10 in terms of firepower.

And they'll still have to do all the rank up quests to reach B rank, but honestly here, a single A rank also costs like, 300 reports. I think allowing people to pop Bs from As, especially players who have stuck around long enough to make it to A rank in the first place would be a great way of rewarding them for their playtime.

I just found a 'bug'.

Using this, I made another character name Lizy the Big Brain #1 who is lvl 11 ( per Solet' Luna's lvl ), and by retiring Solet' Luna, Lizy would get half of Solet' Luna's exp. By repeating this a few time, Lizy the Big Brain #6 would become S-ranked adventurer!

Oh, btw, about the whole Fuyu Machi thing:

• People do the painting quest for Lord Eugene Rosenthal.
• Lord Rosenthal does an art exhibition that shows the beauty of FM to the nobles and rich people in SC.
• Nobles and rich people want to see the place in person.
• Nobles and rich people invest in contacting their otherworld governments to help aid the FM people in battling against the Oni's.
• Nobles and rich people establish negotiations with FM leaders, saying they're willing to send reinforcements if they can use FM as a resort location.
• Set up a holiday/tourist industry.
• Quests for AG members will be to hold back oni's, hunt local wildlife and resources, work as bodyguards/security for the nobles/rich people holidaying in FM - since I imagine the locals wouldn't be willing since they're reclusive and xenophobic.
• Escort quests for nobles and rich people travelling to and from FM will also be established due to this, too.

Forgot to say my favourite weapon.
IC: Liana doesn't have one, per se since she's not combat-oriented initially. She is enjoying using the billhook spear, though.
OOC: Hmm, if magic was real then I'd choose that due to its high versatility.
Realistically, I've liked archery but I'm personally not suited for it due to not putting my wrist in the correct position and needing glasses/contacts to see into the distance
As for what I think I'd be viable at...either the sword or the billhook spear.
The sword because you can use one hand for a lot of techniques - allowing you to hold a shield if you need to.
The billhook spear because it has range and high versatility and was a favourite of the British for a long time.

If we are going by if everyone had access to hot weapons, sci-fi or not...
If I were to use one, it would either be a shotgun type of weapon or a laser rifle.
If it's for aesthetics and use...I quite like sniper rifles in games like Mass Effect.

I guess it kind of works. But what stops them from hiring bodyguards themselves to head there.

The thread is for the characters mostly, not all players read the quest reports, and many characters wouldn't know a thing. A source of information equal to all characters and not just in one story is the idea.
