I used to work as a university lecturer/researcher where the average age of my co-workers was like 50 or something and it nearly drove me insane. I felt like my life is over and now the only thing left for me is to do the same shit every day for the next 40 years until I die. Dark times for this Daikon.

All you do all day is print out huge sheets of paper, fold them, sew them into a book and put them in a box where no one will ever open it again.
The only good part of this job was when you had to sign the documents for other people. Do I need to tell you how many "dicks" I wrote down?

I think the only good part of the job was teaching. I loved having classes with my students, since I love teaching, but it was not more than 10% of my responsibilities. I used to work 60 hours a week and I still had to do research and write science articles on top of that

yeah its forbid women can wear dress... but this is a fight im not willing to take... u know right i literally work with all departments and if even by a chance they end up forbiding dresses because it i would not survive the carnage

GF sometimes helps her parents with some accounting work (because of her education), so I get to hear often about the shit she has to deal with... At least in the US it seems like a nightmare
