OOC: Remember AIEO looks like a fully grown woman.
IC: Well it's centuries worth of instruction long exposure to tutorials that are extremely condensed. Plus I have other assets I can play with if more direct measures are needed." I sit up straight watching Exal respond to the new guy.

"I just used my hand to grab one of the cores stung a bit not to much damage though well within acceptable parameters." AIEO shrugs at Exal.
"It seems like you had an excellent learning environment. I almost envy you."

As I hear that she actually touched these creatures directly, I can't help but wince. "I prefer not directly touching such filthy creatures. Just imagining the dirt I'd have to remove..."

OOC: Right, my bad.

"And you are skilled enough for that at such a young age? Impressive."

Someone requires help! I immediately shout back:

"Yes, just hit the core! But the knife will get damaged, so I recommend you use something you don't need!"
Whether he wished or not, MA ended up eavesdropping on people's conversations. Although, to be honest, the guy was shouting. It was impossible for him not to be attracted. In any case-- core? Slimes he assumed. Mmm. That may be a bit different than from where he comes from. Does it mean that slimes are acidic enough to damage iron?

Nonetheless, thinking about it was nothing but naught! For he does not fight!
"Although... I suppose wood rods should be effective."

'That sounds rather dangerous...'
Or it was that the slimes were less dangerous than the former thought of them. A sigh escaped his mouth-- hopefully, there is a library around where he could get more precise information about creatures of this world. May as well ask those two. That does sound like an idea.
Proceeding to approach Exal and AIEO, Manyvat Adruo voiced his thoughts while excusing himself for interrupting them.

"May you please excuse me... I am just a newcomer. Do you know where I could find a library or anything that would permit me to have more... knowledge?"
In hindsight, perhaps the expression he was searching for was: common sense.

"It was the best learning environment that could be provided for our unique purposes upon the Throneworld sanctioned by the Emperor himself blessed be his name." AIEO goes into what can be assumed to be a semi-prayer stance.

"I'm sorry I only got out of the gate area yesterday and spent the night on border patrol you'll have to ask someone else." AIEO smiles at the man whom she noticed coming over a bit ago and whom it seems had been *eavesdropping* on the conversation.

"Well, we do have archives containing various quest reports here, however, the word sorted seems to be unknown to whoever takes care of it.

"Throneworld? Emperor?" More words that seem strange. I frown to myself.

"Another universe realistically is the answer. You from around here? Though I'm highly surprised you haven't heard of an Emperor before though." I shrug my shoulders to express my slight beffudlment. "Well an Emperor is basically a king of kings the most powerful being in the universe where I'm from. Throneworld is the world that guards and protects the Emperor's throne blessed be his name and his body resting upon it after he was struck down by his traitorous spawn cursed be his supporters." I seem to have gotten a little worked up towards the end there or at least more so than necessary.

"That is a shame..."
While he wished to ask if she had noticed anything significant about the city while she was patrolling, the merchant did not want to bother her too much.
"Well, we do have archives containing various quest reports here, however, the word sorted seems to be unknown to whoever takes care of it.
"Hahaha."
That seems like a bad idea to check out those reports. Just imagining how many are done every day may make the reading way too long. On top of that-- since it is not sorted. There may be many wortheless reports that will be wasteful. Unfortunately, some people do not have that much free time...

In the meantime, both of them were speaking about thing he may be familiar with. The Emperor? Is there Holy Empire of Mankind here as well? That would be-- no, making hasty conclusions so quickly is unwise. On top of that, they may not even be from this world.
Although, he is still doubtful about being in a different world. So far, nothing has been overly shocking. It is possible that he has been teleported to the other side of the planet. It is more credible than being in another world for sure.

"In any case, thank you for your answers. My name is Manyvat Adruo."

"I am not exactly from around here either, no." I mumble as I intently listen to her explanation. Emperor, the king of kings... I like the sound of that.

"Your emperor is very important to you, I see. Quite impressive." Comes my comment as I stroke my beard pensively.

"He is the only reason that anyone can even stay alive in my home. Without the light that his body shines throughout the stars all beings would die and be swallowed by the unrelenting corrupting tide." My right eye seems to be seeing things in slightly darker shades than normal
Assertion: Colour has dimmed temporarily now returned.
Conclusion: For some reason my left eye glowed.

"Sounds rather troubling. Though, I suppose an Emperor can bring in many benefits-- when they are the right person, that is."
Honestly, M.A. did not quite like the concept of Empire. Nonetheless, if you are on their good side, you can rake in many profits. Thus in a way, he does appreciate this kind of regime when he is on the right side of the barrier. Or when they are. It depends on the perspective.

"It is true that it was not much. But you replied to a question you did not reply to. Thus, I thank you out of basic courtesy."

"That is the right kind of Emperor I assume. Although, he sounds more like a God rather than Emperor in all sincerity."
Perhaps the description was hyperbolized, or was it just fanatism? Or maybe, in her world, the notion of God and Emperor are mixed? Who knew. It will naturally clear up as they continue speaking.

"It is nice to meet you."

So that is what one has to achieve to become truly worshipped. It seems like I learned a lot. After nodding in enlightenment I offer to answer any questions she has.

"You have my thanks for telling me so much. Now, it's only proper to answer any questions you have as well."

So this one acts based on logic and profit. Noted. But I can't help but be curious...

"He's nothing like those craven bastards. Not even worthy of being compared. The blastard God's rape pillage and burn all throughout his demsne trying to tempt his loyal followers into darkness and corruption with temporary pleasures and excesses." I check my rage before it boils over from the insult this isn't my world they aren't as fanatical about this as me. "Anyone he is definitely not a God just an Emperor protecting the world through his immense magical powers and archaic technology capable of divining a light throughout millions of star systems!" I check my pride again. "Nice to meet you to."

"Basilgaraad? I guess I will ask about him the next time I meet my parents," I said to Lily. "Anyways, I was not expecting a dragon to be here of all places. Maybe there is a handsome son of his? Ask him about it next time for me Lily, pretty please?"

"Anyways, you have completed the quest successfully Lily! I was expecting you to bring me silk with spider blood and gore all over it but this is way better," I said as I examined the silk.

I handed Lily 50 gold coins. "Now about your second reward! I will give you a discount if you want me to make you any clothes for yourself! I say, You would look pretty cute in a nice flowing skirt. Or perhaps for a change try something more modern?"
"I...uh, thanks!" I said, speaking Sylvan. "As for a son, I guess I can at least ask? And I'll have to postpone the clothes until I have more money! Thanks again, though!" With that, I backed away from Vivis in search of someone who can help me with the negotiations.

"What makes an emperor the right kind of emperor?"
"Mmm. On that side, I shall provide my opinion-- as the notions of right, wrong and such are subjective. As well as what is good. I will take an example-- One may think that a right Emperor is one who protects and cares for his people.

Then, my opinion is largely different. A right Emperor does not need to care for his people, that is the job of the officials to please, and protect them. To ensure their safety, to struggle against crime and such. The job of the Emperor is to lead his Empire to glory, to deal with the others nations, to establish beneficial relationships on both sides for the sake of stability-- but also to stomp on the ones that threaten the Empire.
Nonetheless, he still has to keep an eye on the inside, on the corruption creeping in. Officials can be corrupted, thus they should be executed and replaced by competent officials that shall not betray.

That is more or less what I think of an Emperor-- rid of corruption, protecting its nation, and ensure stability."

That is rather baffling, or so the merchant thought of this situation. An Emperor in conflict with God? Nonetheless-- what is a God to her? From what he has seen. It seems that basically what people would call "Evil Gods" are "Gods" to her, in others words-- there is no such thing as "Good Gods". Otherwise, her reaction would not have acutely violent, or so he thought.

"I see. That does make a difference... I assume that you think that there is only one God?"
That is also something to take in consideration-- as well of the Emperor's power. Technology-wise, but also Magic-wise. What is exactly a star system? Does that mean he held power over stars? That could mean that him and his people could live-- outside the planet. Likely, if what she is saying is truthful. Then, there is likely to be clash of concepts and notions which may lead to misunderstandings. Even worse than people of different nationalities at this point.

@.@) I tried to follow what nene and the others were saying but in the end I only got more dizzy instead, I wonder if I got enough sleep in the first place? ah, if only they were talking about the mysteries of some tomb so something so I could join in.

But every great philosopher made these same questions?

It was fun to learn about other people's life philosophy's though.

But She's really into that topic huh, not even a nod back~ Seeing that she was busy I went somewhere else in fact, they all did not notice my introduction? Did I introduce myself? did I hallucinate? Ah that's bad! I quickly tried joining another conversation to see if I was a ghost

"No there is 4 main gods in the world all vile and corrupt, 1 is kindness. 2 is planning 3 is excess and pleasure. 4 is Honour and war. But they are the most perverted and deranged versions of these ideas."

Religion always forms problems it's the bane of existence in my books." I slowly unwind the tightness in my body as a female catches the attention of the Homunculus whatever that is.

I nodded happily Ah I'm not invisible? I can scratch out being the silent classmate trope then "It sounded interesting, Mind If I listen in?" I was already listening in, in the first place, but It seemed these two were conversing about things that might be good to me if I thought about them too.

I looked curiously at the skin tight suit the woman was wearing Ah she looks like hnnnnn.... I've never seen it before, It somehow reminds me of something I had watched once on the television but the guard that was slacking off noticed me, panicked, turned off the tv and ran off.

Uuuuu I don't have anything smart sounding to add

"Well…"
Seeing someone coming nearby, a smile crept up on the merchant's face. He could not help but exclaim some words.

"Do join in, we are having an interesting talk."

"So the emperor keeps it safe from the outside and clean from the inside while the other officials deal with internal matters," I state my interpretation.
Homunculus? Now that sounds like a legendary creature that should not exist. Hopefully, M.A., while he did not take him seriously as it seemed doubtful, still recorded those in his memories. Just in case he is proven wrong, thus he shalln't be surprised.

"I suppose you could word in that matter. Then it is just a rough and simple outline. The practice and theory is way more complicated."
"No there is 4 main gods in the world all vile and corrupt, 1 is kindness. 2 is planning 3 is excess and pleasure. 4 is Honour and war. But they are the most perverted and deranged versions of these ideas."

"Splinter of a being huh I have known a species that did that to what they saw as their "Gods" they aren't called gods anymore though with how shattered they are and how weak they turned out to really be. Religion always forms problems it's the bane of existence in my books." I slowly unwind the tightness in my body as a female catches the attention of the Homunculus whatever that is.
"All vile and corrupt, huh."
Her description was really filled with hate as far he noticed. Nevertheless, he could not think properly about it as he simply did not know anything aside from opinions.

"Those names don't evoke any kind of evil yet your descriptions are, suppose nobody would make a God after violence or such. Were they originally like this? Or did they gradually become corrupt and vile?"

= As Vysic =

"It's not the gods that are evil. It's their followers. Reading the teachings of the gods, and twisting it to fulfil their own fucked up selfish desire.",
Vysic said sipping his apple juice.
" A god doesn't define itself. It's defined by the beliefs of its people."
