Hmm, when characters leave for other regions, are they unable to interact/roleplay with others anymore due to the distance between them?

As much as that's more realistic and stuff, things would get pretty boring if everyone spread out across the world and became unable to interact with each other.

So how does one go about this IC wise?

Lol
Unfortunately, Liana is still under compulsion from her sire, so she won't be attracted to anyone until it breaks due to her getting stronger, or he dies, or he releases her from it.
She's also not into girls.

I do think she could eventually become friends with her, though...when she's not hungry/thirsty.

Both can totally be friends.

You might want.to check out my exploration quest for easy blood vials although you can ignore it by having your char not know about the tour that is half a day away. >.>

In previous versions of AG, the Tavern is a mystical place where characters somehow manage to interact no matter where they are. :blobrofl: I actually think this is fine for social reasons.

Here, it's probably okay to have a version of what I like to call "liquid time" -- which is basically time dilation!

I like to think of my character RP-ing in the Tavern from the past before X event but after Y event, blah blah

Frankly, the tavern is a pretty lighthearted place -- at least in my mind.

I'm usually much more relaxed and cheerful with Okarin in the tavern (and as a receptionist) -- then when I'm writing freestyle or on quest reports.

It's not exactly clear IC when Okarin actually spends time to do either of these things since they are kind of avoiding the city for #plot reasons, but I don't question it. :blob_happy:

Ah well, she doesn't really understand what she is, needs or can do.
She's a complete newbie to being a vampire so she doesn't even really understand that she can only feed on blood. Her sire got separated before he explained anything important, survival-wise.
I imagine that at some point she'd hear about easy blood vials, though.
I'll have a look at the quest when I get the chance; currently typing up one.

Could you send a link to it?

Yeah I think that way as well, hence why I randomly get Felicia to greet/converse with others in there xD

I'm looking forward to Okarin's eventual return :blob_aww:

Oh wow... I was about to make some insane near-death experience but maybe if I do I simply won't survive.

The girl is established wind mage, is there a way for me to lower the level? I've seen the power level on the character page, so it feels like level 15 is appropriate. It is entirely possible that the girl was ambushed/drugged or defeated in other method than combat. Just for the low chance of her being defeated in combat though...

Ikr? I mean, I doubt Nene would ever visit a tavern unless it was strictly needed tbh, so like... Having her in the tavern doesn't make that much sense IC-wise.

But I like interacting so I just shrug that off~

IIRC, the report never specified he was that good at Wind Magic? She could be a novice at it and not that powerful overall.
... Or she could have been killed before she had any chance to do magic. Sneak attacks always work well and stuff. Or poison, or numbing gas or whatever.

I think the "level 15" part can be taken as a "Better safe than sorry" assumption, but doesn't necessarily needs to be taken at face value IMO.

Level 15 seemed like an experienced, jaded adventurer that should be at the top of the pillar of influence in the Scribel City, literally the beginning town where the highest level of a quest of the adventure guild is at maximum level 8.

Mm... yeah. I just thought long time devout means she had time to grow. So, suggestion?

Yep. That is fine. Let's turn her to novice mage, level 10?

Remember that she wasn't a priestess, but a civilian that just came to the temple to pray, so the amount of training time she had was probably pretty small overall.

Not to mention she probably never had any opportunity to use her magic in a more practical situation, especially not a combat situation.

Moreover, she could have simply frozen in place when faced with attackers, wouldn't be a particularly unusual reaction.

So... I think there are plenty of ways to interpret it that makes the feat of killing her not necessarily super incredible~

I think you don't need to do anything about it and simply leave it up to the player that takes the quest to interpret how things went~

Hmm... yeah. to @GDLiZy, perhaps you could investigate her background to establish it? just think that the quest was made from the perspective of someone who was given report without doing investigative work, newbie clerk.
