@rake1025 , I don't know, how DM deals with criticals according to actual rules, but be aware, that natural 1 on d20 attack roll is critical miss. That implies, that something unfortunate happened to your character. (For example: she makes clumsy move, and instead of goblin, drops bomb under her own feet, and needs to deal with consequences now: saving throw, etc.)

We aren't rolling to attack, we're deciding turn order.

5e also doesn't have critical fails by RAW. It can be added as an optional rule though.

When you say 'fire bomb', are you referring to my Magic Stone cantrip, or did I miss something?
