Believe it or not, I actually work in medical research (pretty low on the scale but still). This is 1000% true. Now, sometimes we get things wrong because we make mistakes or we don’t catch the mistakes of others, but we always double check.

Basically, a researcher copy and pasted his own images into multiple papers to make it look like he had lots of data to support a claim. However, other researchers weren’t able to duplicate his results so they went back and examined ALL his papers and found ALL the lies.

Researchers are generally more dedicated to the true than they are to covering up the lies of other researchers. Also, we have our own journals etc. that make us money, increase our chances of getting funding, etc. Being paid to spread lies doesn’t pay nearly as well as being the person who can identify and solve the problem in the modern day. And identify the person spreading lies and getting them torn down lol.

edit: if you were to say dragon-god, with a hyphon, then that would be entirely different. As that would suggest dragons and gods have different properties, and a dragon-god is a being which could be classified as both a dragon and a god. This in turn implies dragon would not be a subcatagory of gods, since then all dragons would be dragon-gods and this would be redundant.

Personally, I don't like sentient dragons. Dragons being sentient aren't what makes them cool. Dragons are cool because they breathe fire, fly, eat sheep and terrify people.
I guess dragons became popular for a similar reason lions became popular (although lions don't have anywhere near the same popularity as dragons, I'm sure we call all agree they are overrated.)- they have very memorable traits. The lion has its mane, and the dragon has its fire.
As such, no. dragons don't deserve rights, because they aren't sentient.

I would actually say he was good for climate change. Climate change results not just in global warming, but also worse extremes including snow storms. He returned Narnia to its rightful seasons, not just changed it to eternal summer
