So, this newbie author was acting quite arrogant, proclaiming how she is the best author and how she is here to earn the big money and the only thing holding her back is the fact that the readers of this site are idiots who rather read generic isekai filled with fan service rather than true literature.

I told her that she still has places to improve and that there are many famous authors who are better than her, so she challenged me to name even a single one who could be better than her.

I mean, she could be right. She could be better than anyone here. She needs to understand the concept of a Target Audience.

Writing the best thing in her genre, while impressive, is wasted effort if she advertises it to the wrong reader demographic. It's like writing the best Fantasy story in the world, but for people who would rather read historical fiction or harlequin romances. She's in the wrong place. If she knows what the typical material is for readers of SH, then why is she here, not writing the typical material for readers of SH?

Skills she may have, common sense, certainly not.

I guess I'm an "author." I mean, I have written before. However, I produce quite a lot, so I prefer the term "writer." Well, what if this person is also not a native speaker and refuses to write in proper English because she wants people to read her for content and now for her language skils?

No one's gonna read her for content if her writing is too horrible to read and makes readers do a double take. You could have the best ideas out there, but if you write like a 2nd grader, its gonna be a brain toss. If its that horrible, they are not the best.
