A 1st person story that changes points of view every time a new character is introduced. When they bump into anyone who has already been introduced then it will return their point of view to that person. This continues until it all ties together for the finale.

Sounds like shit idea. Worthy of a shitpost. It's shit.

But what if it's actually a great idea? Think about it.

It won't work for most stories. But....

A murder mystery, where there are only like less than 10 characters, stuck on an island or somewhere, with no outside interference...don't you think that would work pretty great there?

That could work very well actually. I like where this is going. I'll jot that down into my notes for future stories. Unless you write it first.

Hello everyone, welcome to the Gilligan's Island murder mystery! One day, wrong-way Feldman turns up dead with a knife wound to his back. The murder weapon is nowhere to be found. Figure out who's responsible for this atrocity.

You never know until you tried.

It might seem bad at first, but what if the execution is good? ?

Isn't it amazing that the difference between terrific and terrible are exactly three scarlet letters?

It's a very interesting idea actually.

I am going to use it after my current project.
Do you know Black Summer? It's a zombie apocalypse that it's narration resembles this style of first perspective. I love that series, especially its season 1.

Sheesh... I am tempted of side tracking my current project, this style have potential, but the execution would be difficult...

The execution would make or break the story and it would take careful planning.

it would be amazing if there isn't a lot of characters and the story is short

it would be painful for a 'normal' story with many characters and a world to build around the plot

This a perfect idea! It will probably meet the fast pace all the TikTok internet tweakers want you to go at.

You know the ones that complain your story is too slow even after you have already established it was going to be like that from the get go.
