Gawr is superhuman
Eochy is a famous hero, so that edges him slightly above veteran knights
I would put Ames, Lysander, Gwen, Anya all at the same tier - "veteran knight status - but not superhuman"

Ames is a grenadier knight. He turns rocks into explosives (like grenades) and throws them. Also has some kind of secondary weapon.

Gawr is absurdly sturdy. Can wrestle with dragons and win. Has a 'Reflect' skill that one-shotted Ume. I was planning to casually drop him from a kilometer or two above Cimon's Hollow sky-diving fashion (potentially with an exploding airship) when he's searching for Ume. Anyways, Gawr isn't coming with the main scout party.
So gawr is gonna be our deus ex machina aimbot pls nerf that solves the problem of us getting our ass destroyed by cultists? Perfect

Hm I am of the opinion that Gawr is currently our power ceiling. Considering Lysander is a veteran knight sent to protect a non-combatant and was top of the class, well it makes sense he is their too.
I dont know much about Ames but ~(-_-)~
I put Sven next coz well that is what my idea for him was.
Then the next two best seems to be Anya and Gwen, I remember you were talking about wind manipulation and stuff.
Then Roxia coz well she is training to be a knight ~
Teddy next coz well Teddy ~
Next are the non-combatants
'-'
Anya has over 30 years of experience in an army that has had many battles.
She's been a scout for a long time and has never failed in her missions assigned by the army and kingdom so far.
She can use wind magic, ice magic and sound magic.
She knows aerial combat and is skilled with her sword.
She also has the advantage of being able to fly and transform into any kind of bird.
You still think she should be where she is?

Gawr's downside is that he's ridiculously dumb, lol.

In either case, my story on the main site was originally pitched as a tragic comedy. Both Ume and Gawrgaru are OP, and the plot comes from misunderstandings and stupidity.

It would break stories if they did anything correctly, so from an authorial standpoint everything that they do has to screw up.

Honestly my vote is that Anya and Birdman run off and do the quest by themselves. XD

Both of them can fly (and they can apparently get on and off the island without these silly anti-airship weapon drama), and two people is already enough for a scouting party lol.
little did they know, Gargan is already doing their job~
I dont have time to RP today, but at least by the time scout party arrive, he and Wen prob explore 1/4 of the island already. Prob gonna be just a few monster cluster here and there, some abandoned building that isnt over 30 years old, and maybe a group of cultists or two!
I think if I am reading this right the power levels are,

Gawr == Lysander
Ames?
Sven
Anya, Gwen
Roxia
Teddy
Dew, Audrianna
Fiora

Or something?
Gawr == Lysander
Ames? Lux(It's a six foot f***ing zoid)
Sven
Anya, Gwen
Roxia, Harold(armor summon)
Teddy, Dew
Audrianna
Fiora
(also curious on where Gargan and Wendyll be on that scale)

Goddamnit, I remember asking @Bochi to set up an event the base camp had to deal with exactly because there were too many non-combatants...
I got abandoned by my Uber Ride :blob_no:

This guide from AGv3 may be helpful for determining your character's power level.

If your character is decent at one thing, they're probably Rank D.

If your character is good a diverse number of things but not "one of the best" at a subject, they are probably Rank C.

If your character can claim that they're "among the best" at a subject (i.e. I'm one of the best ice magicians), they're probably Rank B.

If your character is OP, they're probably Rank A.

Note that these ranks are irrelevant for AGSA.

I'd put Dew himself at D without his summons.

Then stay at camp and hang with me, There will definitely be a base camp raid from monsters, either bochi will do it or I will
Lol, I just had a thought.
Dew is hanging around when a white dove lands on his shoulder and he thinks it's Anya.
It defecates on him.
He gets annoyed and starts having a go at the dove, only for Anya to arrive in humanoid form while the dove is still there, since she heard him having a go at her.
'-'

Just a funny scene that flashed through my mind.
It definitely does not have to happen at all.

Power levels are pointless, I'm more interested about abilities. Good ability synergy beats out raw power in terms of fun!
Dew is physically fit and has a gun, he can atleast do better than Audrina
Anyone does better with a gun xDD
Ames is a grenadier knight. He turns rocks into explosives (like grenades) and throws them. Also has some kind of secondary weapon.
...「Killer Queen」?!
Eochy is a famous hero, so that edges him slightly above veteran knights
Though it may be pointless thanks for the vote of confidence, whatnot with putting him above Ames and so xD

I intend to run Eochaidh as a support (that liberally uses their great sword) to better fit his role as raid leader, so I'm going to give him a runic magic system based on the Ogham Aphabet.

Going to set a number of concrete spells with a concrete mana pool since solid constraints actually give them more narrative impact, like a limited supply of support you can call on to bail you out, in games, which is what I want to go for considering his role as a raid leader.

Summoning a windstorm with no indication of how much effort that took is a greatly different feeling than knowing that your raid leader squeezed out 20% of their mana setting that up. The more you understand something the more amazing it gets, I feel.

Actually cant we just have bunch of nobles overstimating themselves and Gawr being the big brother having to cleam the mess and do dumb stuff? Simple and neat.

Also I think I can probably figure out a way to let one or both of my chars remain behind...

-nodsnods- I was curious how you were planning to use Eochaidh, esp. since the power level generally skews very high (i.e. with Anya and Dew and Gargan shredding through monsters without taking a single scratch). It would be strange if the famous hero was weaker than a handful of kids, which is why the universe is a headache! :blob_no:

We have many different styles of roleplayers here!

We need people to ride on Kaede's airship! :sweating_profusely::sweating_profusely::sweating_profusely:

If everyone stays behind, pretty soon it'll just be Eochy by himself...

Honestly, I still favor the explanation that this is a training mission that Eochy is guiding the kiddos on, with everyone believing that it's not as dangerous as it really is.

Hm I havent thought shit for Sven but I was sorta thinking of dota when thinking about his name so something similar? Guy swings greatsword with ease and can get god strength for a bit?

As for Roxia, well she can protect an ally with a decent-ish barrier and can bring out the potential of magic weapons + is decent with sword and shield bashes.

Rose is all about going from the sheer awe of dragkns with her brutal dragon taught ice magic to going down to base instincts with her regen.
