What do you regret the most?

I got the idea for this thread because of some of the comments in @K5Rakitan 's post about breastfeeding song suggestions.


Tell me your regrets, and let us hope that the era of SH users who will come after us don't make the same mistakes!



I'll go first.

My biggest regret is that I never got to spend time with my grandparents before they passed away.

Not choosing another major I would have probably enjoyed even more.
Putting all fun things aside until last year of college but then welp got lockdown...
I do hope to have little regrets in life. I don't have any serious serious real regrets, just me not doing anything yet althu I still can finish it.

This even reflects today in my writing, something I try not to get affected by.

I'll go first.

My biggest regret is that I never got to spend time with my grandparents before they passed away.

I regret not working harder in school.
I know i could do better now. Why? Boredom. But also cuz im mature enough to not fuck around and masturbate in class at my teacher's backside.

Never got to finish cuz i didnt wanna have to clean up. But uh. Was a favorite pastime.

Maybe I should have chosen graphic design. Although my major was not bad and was bit interesting, it somewhere kinda fell off...
Edit: Major okay for the most part. No other major interests me as much, or if major is interesting, its not really a stable/high-employment chance. Probably will still choose same major if had to do again. Just kinda wish learned lot more specifically in what I want to do in the courses but eh.

using discord or trying to understand the material (like how does this formula come from what does it mean in reality. Why does this formula repeat everywhere . Does this proof make sense.) instead of solving numericals for exam.

well half regret cause i now do know the answers to why that formula makes sense.

I had such a great advantage at the starting of year (cause i started early) but i let it go to waste and now i am behind the average.

I don't have any big regrets. Even the worst experiences of my life were learning experiences. I just wish I'd learned those lessons faster. If I could have learned what I learned about my ex-boyfriend (2009-2014) in five months instead of five years, that would have been great!

My regret?
Play games everyday from 6am-1am (next day) instead of learning C+ programming language.

Turns out humans last longer than gadgets, breaking my only pc that time. And it happened within half a year for 24/7.

Take note, I learned japanese with the same time frame of my video game addiction so I wasted alot(my only pc and 6 months)
