He actually went to Indonesia and visited a Muslim grave (for some reason), which might lead one to think he's being truthful, but to me just makes it more obvious that he's lying

Either that or him spending 11 hours a day in an urban Japanese office hell has just disconnected him from nature, leading him to perceive the smell of soil and plant life as revolting
